SINGAPORE – Specialty textile chemical supplier DyStar says its new cationisation pre-treatment of dyed warp for the production of indigo and coloured denim dramatically reduces water and energy use.

It’s claimed the new pre-treatment means that denim dyers can by-pass the three to four washing boxes normally used for both indigo and sulphur dyeing to reduce effluent with dye fixation and neutralisation taking place in the same box. Spray Dyed Yarn
